Chiropractic Care in Austin - Creating Wellness Chiropractic
Questions?
1) Will my insurance cover treatment?
We accept most insurance and are Preferred Providers on most policies. Most policies cover our chiropractic adjustment and physical therapy treatments. Unfortunately, Insurance does not cover our Spinal Decompression and New Life Laser program.
2) Will Medicare cover my treatment?
Yes, but it’s quite limited. Medicare will only cover the chiropractic adjustment portion of your treatment. Unfortunately, they will not cover any of our physical therapy treatments or our Spinal Decompression and New Life Laser program.
3) Do you have payment plans for treatment programs?
We can spread your payments out over several months or we can work with Care Credit to finance treatment programs for up to five years!
4) Do you accept auto insurance in auto accident cases?
Yes, we have worked with thousands of patients injured in auto accidents. Most patients are covered by their own Personal Injury Protection (PIP) coverage which covers 100% of your treatment. We can also recommend several law firms specializing in auto accidents to help you recover damages from the other driver. We accept Letters of Protection from most law firms.
5) How long is a treatment plan?
Treatment plans vary a lot depending on several factors: the severity of the condition, the length of the problem and the age and health of the patient. Most of our plans range from 10 and 24 treatments over a one to three month period. We have periodic re-evaluations to determine the effectiveness of your treatment and make revisions when necessary. If you do not satisfactorily progress, we will refer you to the appropriate specialist for further evaluation.
6) Will I have to come forever?
This is actually quite a common question! Most of our patients finish their programs with great results and are released until they have another problem. Many after being released will choose to continue in one of our “Wellness Programs” and continue to progress for optimal stabilization and wellness. Since our nervous systems control every organ and cell including our immune system, it just makes sense to keep it functioning optimally!
7) Are the treatments painful and do you have to “pop” my joints?
Another common question! Treatments are not painful and most patients feel a sense of relaxation afterwards particularly with spinal decompression and New Life laser treatment. There are new technologies that allow Dr. McClung to get great results without actually “popping” your joints. Please make him aware of any concerns you might have. Dr. McClung has performed over 120,000 treatments in his 26 years of practice and no one has ever been injured.
